General Information

Date: Saturday 15.12.2012;

Venue: indoor swimming pool, Complexul Sportiv BEGA (25 m / 6 lanes, water temperature 29*), located in Timisoara, str. Intrarea Zinelor, Zona Circumvalatiunii
-
Target group: 18+;;
-
Mission: promotion of Masters swimming competion in the DKMT region;
-
Hosts: Masters Swimming Club Timişoara, DJT, Timisoara City Hal.
Age groups
-
age groups for individual events are: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, etc;
-
age groups for relays are: 70-99, 100-119, 120-159, 160-199, 200-239, 240-279, etc.
Rules
-
The current LEN rules, as of the date of the meet, and warm up procedures will be followed.;
-
The heats and distribution on lanes are based on the declared registration times only (age and sex are not taken into consideration);
-
All events will be run slowest to fastest;
-
The classification is based on swimming time according to age groups and sex;
-
For the 200m event swimmers will compete on a single style, heats beeing made upon registration time;
-
All members of a relay team must be from the same club;
-
No swimmer may swim more than once in any relay event.
Awards
-
diplomas shall be awarded to all the swimmers;
-
medals shall be awarded to individual competitors placed first to third in each event and age group;
-
diplomas shall be awarded to teams placed first to third in each relay event and age group;
-
DMKT Cup will be awarded to the team with highest sum o the points obtained by its members..

Warm up: 12,30-13,20;
Opening ceremony: 13,20-13,30;
The contest starts: 13,30
Event 1 200m free choise
Event 2 25m buterfly
Event 3 100m breast stroke
Event 4 25m back stroke
Event 5 100m free style
Event 6 25m breast stroke
Event 7 100m buterfly
Event 8 25m free style
Event 9 100m back stroke
Event 10 100m medley
Event 11 4x25m free style
Event 12 4x25m medley
Event 13 2x25m relay “two generations” (parent and a child)
Event 14 3x25m relay “three generationsi (parent, child and grandpa )
The events will take place depending on the existing registrations.
Risk of accidents

Participation in the competition requires a proper health and good physical condition of participants;
-
Participants will assume responsibility for risks and risks of participation in practice swimming competition.
Registration
-
Open to any swimmer 18 years old as of date of the contest;
-
There are no qualifying times necessary to enter the meet;
-
Entries must be received by 13.12.2012, time 23,00 at contact@timisoara.inot-masters.ro
-
You can make entries and on the spot, in which case the fee will be double;
-
Swimmers must register in person at the secretariat, before they can swim;
-
Entry fees: Individual 10 lei / event – email registration;
200m event on free choise free participation;
relays 20 lei / relay;
-
Relays’ registration till 13:30 hrs.;
-
Payment on the spot till 12:30 hrs, or through a bank, no later than 18th of November, for: Clubul de Inot MASTERS Timisoara, account: RO 47 BRDE 360 SV 58 64 11 23 600 BRD Bank, “Continental” branch, Timisoara, cod fiscal 22406183. Subject of the payment: “taxa de participare la concurs”

No refunds will be given out after in case of no show up at the start.;

Participants’ seeding on lanes for each event will be posted, during the contest, on billboard,
Accommodation
Organizers can accommodate participants in different locations with different types of comfort: :
-
boarding school: 6-8 bed room with shared shower / toilet – 7 euro per person;
-
boarding school: triple room with own shower / toilet – 10 euro per person;
-
hostel or hotel. More details by request.
